We welcome all new patient enquires and you may simply contact us and one of our friendly receptionists will get back in touch with you.

Your first visit

On your first visit to the practice we would ask that you arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time to complete a medical history questionnaire. Please be assured that all information that you provide is strictly confidential and for practice use only. Unless you have a problem which requires immediate attention, no treatment is normally provided at this initial appointment.

Your dentist will carry out a comprehensive health assessment that will take approximately 30 minutes.  This involves discussing any of your immediate concerns, conducting a thorough examination of all your soft tissues, teeth, as well as the integrity of any existing dentistry.  Radiographs (x-rays) may also be required to confirm your teeth and supporting structures are healthy from this perspective.  This also allows your risk to be assessed so that we can recommend the best preventive care plan for you.

Getting the right advice

Following this assessment, your dentist will explain their findings to you as well as any recommendations for treatment to restore your mouth to its healthiest possible condition. We always discuss the financial cost for proposed treatment options and give you a printed estimate. If you need more clarification on treatment please ask your dentist.
